Matt Hoverman is Gilmore Jasion Mahler's director of IT consulting. He has over two decades of professional services experience in systems implementation, information security, internal and external audit, risk management, compliance, and management consulting across multiple industries. Matt has spent his entire career helping companies of all sizes and industries think through their IT and strategic risks, building a roadmap for investment, and executing a plan that aligns with the goals of the business. His experience includes significant involvement in defining the control environment, developing the approach to evaluate the control environment, leading IT control and application reviews, and assisting clients with remediation efforts. Matt is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
Matt obtained a bachelor of science in computer science from Bowling Green State University. He is the president of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) NW Ohio Chapter and past board member with the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA). He's very active in the community and coaching youth sports. He currently serves on the board of trustees for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Toledo and the American Red Cross, as well as the accounting advisory committee for the Bowling Green State University College of Business.
