Judy is a partner in the healthcare and outsourced accounting services area of the firm. She has over 25 years of experience in public accounting and industry. Prior to joining the firm in 2007, she spent ten years in the healthcare industry as director of finance working for a large independent practice. Her experience in practice management includes all facets such as financial reporting and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, accounts receivable management, payor reimbursement audits, personnel management, compensation review, ownership transition and medical malpractice considerations.
Judy's formal education consists of an undergraduate degree in accounting from The University of Toledo. She is a certified public accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA). She has volunteered her time with many area nonprofit organizations and initiatives including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwestern Ohio, Hospital Council of Northwest Ohio, Healthcare Heroes, the Toledo Area Humane Society and Toledo Society for the Blind.
Dave Baymiller is a partner in the tax services area with over 35 years of public accounting experience. Dave practices exclusively in the area of federal state and local taxation with an emphasis on tax planning and consulting. He devotes a great deal of time to working with professional personal services entities and individuals, real estate entities and transactions, construction activities, and high net worth individuals. He consults frequently in the areas of mergers, acquisitions and dispositions of businesses, corporation and shareholder transactions, stock options and non-qualified deferred compensation plans, and tax-free real estate exchanges. Dave also has extensive experience in the multi-state income and sales and use tax areas, especially as they relates to construction activities.
Memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Dave is a 1977 graduate of Bowling Green State University with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting and a minor in Economics, and was initiated into Beta Alpha Psi, the national accounting fraternity. He also attended Albion College where he played football. Dave attended high school in Toledo where he was an All City Football and Track athlete at E. L. Bowsher High School.
Wes Beham is a partner in the assurance and consulting area of GJM with nearly two decades of experience with Gilmore Jasion Mahler, LTD. In his time with the firm, Wes has provided audit and advisory services to a broad range of companies and focuses his time as the lead of GJM's Manufacturing Specialist Team. He is also a member of GJM's Construction Specialist Team. Additionally, Wes has worked extensively on mergers and acquisitions, and with publicly held companies as a Sarbanes Oxley auditor and an Internal Auditor for those companies.
Wes is a member of the editorial board for the Manufacturer, a quarterly publication that offers relevant financial and business articles for the manufacturing industry. Currently he is a board member for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. His community service work includes his role as a board member for the Employers' Association. He is also on the Village of Whitehouse Economic Development Committee (WEDC).
Wes graduated from the University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and is a graduate of St. John’s Jesuit High School in Toledo.
Bob Bobek is a partner in the audit and accounting department with over thirty years of public accounting experience and leads our Construction Specialist Team. Bob has experience in working with clients in a variety of industries, including construction, real estate, service, distribution, manufacturing, and nonprofit.
Bob is a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and completed post graduate studies, obtaining the degree of a Master in Business Administration specializing in Finance from the University of Toledo. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Institute of Management Accountants, the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, Ohio Contractors Association, the Construction Financial Management Association where he has held several offices, and The Associated General Contractors of America. He has served as an active member of the Advisory Board to the Auditors of State of Ohio, Jim Petro and Mary Taylor, and the Bishop of the Diocese of Toledo.
Bob has authored and presented various presentations to groups on the following topics; developing key financial ratios and using them to manage your business, understanding and developing contract price estimates, internal control and fraud risks, developing an accounting system for a small organization, and the fiduciary responsibility of a board.
Mike is a partner in the assurance department with over fifteen years of public accounting experience. He works in a variety of industries including manufacturing & distribution, government, and nonprofit operations. Among his areas of expertise: employee benefit plans. Mike is a member of the editorial board for Manufacturer, a quarterly publication that offers relevant financial and business articles for manufacturers. Mike has also taken a leadership role in GJM’s Lean initiative, helping the Firm to improve efficiencies.
Born and raised in Fremont, Mike is a graduate of Fremont Ross High School and obtained both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Bowling Green State University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a 2018 graduate of Hancock Leadership and very active in the community, giving his time to many causes including coaching youth basketball. Mike currently serves as the President of the Board of Directors for Hannah’s Socks, Inc., a Toledo nonprofit organization that collects donated socks to give to those in need.
Matt Cavanagh is a partner in the healthcare & accounting services area of the firm and has over 19 years of public accounting and industry experience. Matt spent the first six years of his career working at Ernst & Young LLP and a Fortune 500 company. Since joining Gilmore Jasion Mahler, he has specialized in practice management for physician practices, dental practices and ambulatory surgery centers. His client work has included third party payor contract negotiations, outsourced accounting, financial modeling, accounting and tax assistance.
Matt is a graduate of Bowling Green State University and is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA). He is active in the community, serving on various boards and currently serves on the board of The Cocoon Shelter, a domestic violence shelter in Bowling Green.
Nikki brings over twenty-two years of accounting, auditing and tax experience to your engagement. She serves as a partner in the accounting and auditing area of the firm. She is heavily involved in the utilities industry and specializes in accounting for regulated utilities. Nikki also has deep audit experience in a variety of other industries, including nonprofit, manufacturing and distribution, construction and family owned businesses.
Clement is a graduate of Bowling Green State University and is a Certified Public Accountant. She is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Ohio Gas Association, the Ohio Telecom Association and Ohio Rural Broadband Association. Nikki is a graduate of Hancock Leadership, is involved in the Findlay Rotary Club, Board member for American Red Cross North Central Ohio Chapter and has served on other area boards.
Jeff has 30 years of accounting experience, with a focus on providing services as an accredited business appraiser, forensic accountant, litigation consultant, and expert witness. For the past 20 years, his career has been focused on performing business valuations, accounting investigations, and damage calculations; preparing hundreds of expert reports and appraisal reports; and providing accounting and financial expert testimony.
Jeff’s valuation experience includes appraising hundreds of closely-held businesses; professional/medical/dental practices; ownership interests in family investment holding companies; and assets for purposes including: buy-side and sell-side transactions; qualified appraisals for gift and estate tax filings; stock incentives; buy/sell agreements; expert reports for divorces and stockholder disputes. He is an experienced expert witness in commercial cases and divorce cases.
His deep commercial litigation experience also has a broad scope. He has calculated lost profits, lost compensation, and other economic damages. He has prepared over 100 damage reports and is also an experienced expert witness in commercial damages cases, retained by defendants and plaintiffs.
Jeff received both his undergraduate accounting degree and Master of Business Administration from Michigan State University. He is a licensed CPA and earned the Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) and the Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) Credential through the AICPA. He is a member of the AICPA Forensic & Valuation Services Section. Jeff is also a member of the Expert Resource Connection (ERC), an invitation only, limited member group formed by four nationally recognized forensic accounting professionals for the purpose of sharing resources and collaborating on engagements and best practices. ERC members focus on providing litigation support services to trial lawyers.
Industries/clients served include manufacturers and distributors, construction, technology, retail, service providers, insurance brokers, transportation firms, automotive dealers and suppliers, staffing, food and franchisees, professional practices, and healthcare, including dental, dermatology and surgery centers. He also has five years of corporate experience with a $3-billion manufacturer and was an appraiser with a large CPA firm for five years.
Kevin Gilmore is a partner and specializes in tax compliance and planning for all types of business entities. He also provides business valuation and litigation support services and is a Certified Valuation Analyst. His thirty plus years of public accounting experience include client responsibilities ranging from multi-national, publicly held companies to privately held businesses. He has significant experience in the healthcare industry, and currently assists many medical practice clients with practice management, assisting with negotiating various agreements, budgeting and management advice.
Kevin received both his undergraduate degree and Master of Taxation degree from the University of Toledo. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA), and is a past president of the Toledo Chapter of the OSCPA. Kevin is currently Mayor of the Village of Ottawa Hills, and is on the board of the Regional Growth Partnership. Prior to his involvement with Ottawa Hills, he served eight years on the Lucas County Children's Services Board, where he was chairman for three years. Kevin has served on a number of other local and regional boards over the years.
Deanna Hall is a partner in the tax area with over twenty years of public accounting and private industry experience. Deanna spent the first four years of her career working for Ernst & Young LLP and a Fortune 500 company, specializing in corporate tax. Deanna serves GJM’s manufacturing and distribution clients, specializing in corporate tax issues and consolidated filings, multi-state tax issues, and pass-thru entity issues.
Deanna is a green belt in Lean Six Sigma and a member of GJM’s Lean Steering Committee. She has participated in many Lean Six Sigma projects within the firm.
Deanna is a graduate of Bowling Green State University and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Charlie Heid is a partner specializing in tax services, who joined the firm in 2002. Prior to joining GJM, Charlie spent fifteen years developing his tax expertise with Ernst and Young LLP. Over his thirty plus year career, Charlie has served clients in a wide variety of industries including manufacturing, wholesale distribution, retail and construction. Charlie heads up our manufacturing specialist group as the lead tax partner. He is our firm tax representative with the Ohio Manufacturers' Association (OMA) and other manufacturing groups throughout the region. His experience includes working with individuals, family-owned businesses and multi-national companies in a variety of areas including multi-state and cross-border taxation issues; individual and corporate taxation, partnership and LLC taxation issues; accounting methods specifically related to inventory costing techniques; and research and developmental tax incentive planning.
Charlie received his degree in accounting from The Ohio State University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a past president of the Ohio State University Alumni Club of Lucas County. He is a past chairman of the ProMedica Toledo Hospital Foundation, a current board member of ProMedica Memorial Hospital, and serves as a board member for the American Red Cross of Northwest Ohio, currently serving as vice president.
Linda is a partner in the healthcare group at GJM with over twenty years of experience in public accounting and, prior to that, over ten years of experience in the healthcare industry specializing in physician billing and reimbursement. She currently provides Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan healthcare providers with assistance on various practice management issues, billing and reimbursement procedures, physician compensation issues, budgeting, cost analysis, accounting and tax assistance.
Linda is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA). She is also a member and past president of the National CPA Health Care Advisors Association (HCAA), the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) and the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA). She has served on the boards of Swan Creek Retirement Community and Lott Industries, Inc. Linda is currently the chair of the board for Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She also serves on the board of Unruly Arts.
Kathi Iott is a partner in the tax services area of the firm with over 20 years of public accounting experience. Kathi specializes in tax planning and consulting for individuals and businesses in a variety of areas including construction, real estate, and professional services. Her experience includes planning for executives and high net-worth individuals and extensive work with partnership and S-Corporation taxation issues.
Kathi is a graduate of Bowling Green State University and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Kathi has supported many community organizations and initiatives including board positions with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Toledo and the Arrowhead Park Association.
Adele Jasion has over thirty years of public accounting experience, including nine years at Ernst & Young, LLP. Adele works with clients in the public and private sectors in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, construction, distribution and service, employee benefit plans, government and nonprofit operations. She provides audit, assurance, internal audit and internal control consulting services to such clients. She is in charge of overseeing the firm's system of quality control and performing pre-issuance technical reviews.
Adele is also a quality reviewer in the AICPA's practice monitoring program. In addition, to her CPA designation, Adele holds a certificate of Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) credentials.
Adele is a graduate of the University of Toledo, is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Management Accountants and Institute of Internal Auditors. She has held various offices in the local chapters of these organizations. She is a past president of the Toledo Chapters of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants and Institute of Management Accountants. Adele currently serves on the boards of the Employers' Association, Library Legacy Foundation, Read For Literacy, Toledo-Lucas County Convention Center and Visitors Bureau and the Stranahan Theatre.
She has been active on the Boards of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Northwest Ohio, Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity, United Way Cabinet, Family Service of Northwest Ohio, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Northwest Ohio, and on the City of Toledo Audit Advisory Committee. Adele has also been involved with the Junior League of Toledo.
Mary Jo Pitzen is a partner in the Gilmore Jasion Mahler tax department with over 12 years of public accounting experience. A member of the firm’s Construction & Real Estate Specialist Team, she specializes in for-profit entities, with a concentration in the construction industry. Mary Jo has been responsible for planning, preparation, and review of tax returns, in addition to providing general business consulting. Mary Jo graduated from The University of Toledo with a bachelor of business administration in international business and accounting and a master’s of science in accounting. A board member for the Toledo chapter of The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), she is also a member of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), and a graduate of Leadership Toledo.
Ken is a partner in the Assurance Department who joined Gilmore Jasion Mahler in 2006. A member of the Firm’s Construction and Real Estate Specialist Team, Ken’s area of expertise is affordable housing, though he works with many clients across the construction industry. He is a member of the National Leased Housing Association.
Ken received both his undergraduate degree and his Masters of Accountancy from Eastern Michigan University. He is a member of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. Active in the community, Ken is the board treasurer for Pathway Inc., a Toledo community agency focused on ways to reduce poverty and promote self-sufficiency. He is also the chairman of the Little Flower Catholic Church finance council and assistant baseball coach with McCord Junior High School baseball.
Steve is a partner and tax specialist who joined the firm in 1998. Prior to joining the firm, Steve spent fourteen years developing his auditing and tax expertise at Ernst and Young, LLP. His experience includes working with clients ranging from individuals and family businesses to multi-national companies, in a variety of industries including manufacturing, healthcare, professional services, and contracting. He spends substantial time at both of the firm’s offices in Maumee and Findlay.
Steve's formal education consists of an undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University, and study abroad at the University of Oxford in Oxford, England. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA), and is a past president of the Rotary Club of Waterville, Ohio and The Ohio State University Alumni Club of Lucas County. Steve is the treasurer for the City of Waterville, and has served as a member of the City’s finance committee for over 20 years. He is a 1992 Leadership Toledo graduate, has served as an advisory board member for the University of Toledo Center for Family Business, and is a current board member and Treasurer for The Victory Center.
Chuck Stumpp served as president of Pry Professional Group until November 1, 2013 when the firm merged with Gilmore Jasion Mahler, LTD. He graduated magna cum laude from Bowling Green State University in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He received his CPA designation in 1983. Chuck has previous experience on the audit staff of Peat, Marwick & Mitchell in Toledo. He earned his Personal Financial Specialist designation in 2001 and Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation in 2010.
Professionally, Chuck is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Chuck, an Eagle Scout and a graduate of Hancock Leadership, is a past president of the Findlay Noon Rotary Club. He and wife Kim were co-chairs of the 2011 Hancock County United Way campaign. he is also currently the president of the Findlay Country Club and treasurer of the Citizens for Findlay City Schools and Citizens for Hancock DD. He is also Vice President of Associated Charities. Chuck's prior community involvement includes treasurer of the Findlay Hancock County Community Foundation, president of the Hancock Properties Foundation, president of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Hancock County, president of Century Health, treasurer of Read for Life, treasurer of the United Way of Hancock County and member of the Compliance and Audit Committee of the Blanchard Valley Health System. He has twice chaired the Professional Division for the United Way campaigns. He received the 2015 Hancock Leadership Distinguished Leadership Award.
Chuck and Kim reside in Findlay. Their four children range in age from 29-37.
Greg serves as Audit and Consulting Partner as well as head of the Audit Department of Gilmore Jasion Mahler, LTD. He is a member of the firm’s manufacturing and distribution, and construction and real estate industry teams. Greg specializes in assisting clients with developing strategic alternatives and plans, financial forecasts, systems reengineering projects, quality of earnings and due diligence procedures associated with merger and acquisition transactions. He has more than 25 years of experience specializing in audit, tax, business consulting, and strategic planning. He has focused on assisting private equity-owned portfolio companies with assurance, consulting and tax needs and looking for opportunities to increase EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization). Greg has spent the last several years working as a CFO/VP of Finance for companies ranging in the $150-$350 million in sales, with multiple facilities that were private equity/family office owned. He has a B.B.A. in accounting from Michigan State University and is a CPA.
Jaimee is the lead tax partner in our Maumee office and has over 16 years of experience in public accounting. Jaimee began her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers providing tax services to a broad range of clients and joined Gilmore Jasion Mahler, LTD. in 2003. Jaimee provides tax planning and compliance services for individuals and all types of businesses in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, construction, healthcare, and professional services.
Jaimee graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Master degree in Accounting. Jaimee serves as a member of the University of Toledo Accounting Faculty Advisory Board and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
